Preschool & Kindergarten
ISB’s Maternelle, or Preschool, is a unique French-English bilingual environment where learning comes alive for children from age 2 through Kindergarten.
Daily activities establish the foundation for lifelong learning and provide children the opportunity to safely explore the world around them in a supportive environment. Students learn to love being at school - an attribute they carry forward in their ISB experience.
The Maternelle curriculum is designed to encourage students to exercise their gross- and fine-motor skills and develop their unique capacities.

Lower School
GRADES 1-5 | DEVELOPING A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF CONCEPTS
ISB's Lower School prepares students to see things differently using an intentional, holistic curriculum delivered through French-English bilingual instruction and purposeful project-based learning.
We celebrate and encourage students’ natural curiosity and deep understanding of new concepts, building upon their academic foundation through core academic classes and a complete offering of "specials." By the end of Grade 5, students are bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural – well prepared for success in Middle School.
Middle School
GRADES 6-8 | A TIME TO DISCOVER
At ISB, Middle School is about students discovering their sense of adventure and autonomy.
As students start to imagine their future selves, they will also develop creative problem-solving skills and independent thinking. They will become a member of a safe, close-knit local and international community, surrounded by peers and mentors supportive of their growth and developing interests. Our Middle School program also prepares students to seamlessly transition to the Upper School.
Upper School
GRADES 9-12 | TWO PRESTIGIOUS DIPLOMA PROGRAMS
ISB’s High School students become knowledgeable, critical thinkers, prepared to thrive in universities across every continent and willing to embrace the unique challenges and boundless opportunities of an interconnected world.
ISB offers two international diploma tracks: the International Baccalaureate (taught in English) or the French Baccalaureate. Students in both academic tracks receive an American high school diploma, develop a deep sense of community through a unified student life experience and draw on expertise from our College Counseling team.
